Index Institute of Dental Sciences, Indore, celebrated the International Day of Yoga on 21 June 2026 with great enthusiasm and active participation from faculty members, students, and staff. The programme was organized under the esteemed guidance of Shri Suresh Singh Bhadoria, Chairman, Mayank Welfare foundation, and Mr. Mayankraj Singh Bhadoria, Vice Chairman, Mayank Welfare Foundation, whose vision of promoting holistic education and wellness continues to inspire various health and community-oriented initiatives across the institution. The event aimed to create awareness about the importance of yoga in maintaining physical fitness, mental well-being, and a balanced lifestyle. Participants gathered with great zeal to observe the occasion and reaffirm the significance of incorporating yoga into their daily routines for overall health and personal growth.
The celebration commenced with a guided yoga session conducted by experienced instructors, during which participants performed a series of yoga asanas, pranayama exercises, and meditation techniques. The session focused on enhancing flexibility, improving concentration, reducing stress, and strengthening both physical and mental health.
