Index Institute of Dental Sciences, Indore, celebrated ATHENA 2025 with great enthusiasm during December 2025, providing students and faculty with a platform to showcase their talents beyond academics. The celebrations began with the Athena Ethnic Wear Cultural Extravaganza on 23 December 2025, where undergraduate, postgraduate, and intern students proudly displayed the rich cultural diversity of India through traditional attire representing different regions and communities. Participants shared the significance of their ethnic wear, promoting cultural awareness, inclusivity, and appreciation of heritage. The event was enlivened by colorful cultural performances and concluded with prize distribution and inspiring addresses by the chief guests, including Shri R.S. Ranavath, Shri R.C. Yadav, Dr. Lokeshwar Singh Jodhana, and Dr. Rosaiah Kanaparthy, who encouraged students to preserve cultural values while striving for excellence.
The Athena Sports Week, organized from 13 to 24 December 2025, transformed the campus into a vibrant arena of energy, teamwork, and healthy competition. A wide range of indoor and outdoor sporting events witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, faculty members, and staff, fostering physical fitness, discipline, leadership, and sportsmanship. Inter-batch and inter-departmental competitions strengthened camaraderie and encouraged participants to challenge themselves beyond the classroom. The closing ceremony recognized the outstanding performances of winners and appreciated the dedication and spirited participation of all competitors, reinforcing the importance of a balanced and active lifestyle in professional education.
The celebrations also included the Annual Day Programme, held on 13 December 2025, which reflected the institution’s academic excellence and holistic development. The programme featured ceremonial lamp lighting, presentation of the annual report, award distribution, and captivating cultural performances by students.
