The Convocation Ceremony of Index Institute of Dental Sciences, was held with great dignity and pride on April 8th and 9th, 2025, at the college auditorium. The event marked a significant milestone for the graduating students as they embarked on their professional journey in the field of dentistry. The ceremony commenced with the invocation of divine blessings through the lighting of the ceremonial lamp and recitation of the Saraswati Vandana. The gathering was welcomed by Dr. G.S. Patel, Dean, Index Medical College, Hospital & Research Centre. The occasion was further honored by the presence of distinguished dignitaries including Shri Thawar Chand Gehlot, Hon’ble Governor of Karnataka; Dr. Sumer Singh Solanki, RS ,Member of Parliament – Rajya Sabha; Shri Shankar Lalwani, Member of Parliament – Indore; Shri Suresh S. Bhadoria, Chairman; and other esteemed members of the institutional leadership. All dignitaries were felicitated with floral bouquets and mementoes.
The formal proceedings began with the conferring of degrees and awards. On April 8th, the MDS Convocation Ceremony recognized academic excellence and research achievements, with Gold Medals awarded to top-performing postgraduate students. The following day, April 9th, witnessed the BDS Convocation Ceremony for the 2019 batch, commencing at 2:30 PM. The conferral of degrees was met with resounding applause from faculty, families, and peers. A heartfelt slideshow capturing memorable moments from the students’ academic journey evoked an atmosphere of reflection and celebration. The event concluded with a formal vote of thanks delivered by Dr. Rolly Agarwal, Vice Dean, followed by the national anthem.
The celebrations culminated with the Annual Cultural Night, held on April 10th at the college stadium. The event showcased a vibrant array of student performances including classical and contemporary music, traditional and modern dance, and a socially impactful theatrical presentation. A fashion show reflecting cultural diversity and confidence was a major highlight. The evening concluded with the crowning of Mr. and Miss Anuroop 2025 – Dr. Mohnish Singh Rathore and Dr. Praniti Nagar, respectively. A stellar performance by renowned playback singer Kanika Kapoor brought the celebrations to a grand close, leaving the audience with unforgettable memories. ANUROOP 2025 was a true reflection of academic accomplishment, cultural richness, and the spirit of unity that defines Index Institute of Dental Sciences.
