Event organized in IIDS on 28th May, 2019
On the occasion of “World No Tobacco Day”, Index Institute of Dental Sciences conducted an awareness campaign and lecture especially for Class-IV employees of Malwanchal University.
Dr. B.M. Shrivastav, Ex-Dean, Government College of Dentistry, Indore was the Chief Guest and the Guest of Honour was Dr. Sukhvinder Singh Nayyar, Senior Oncologist.
Senior authorities from the Management Shri R.S. Ranawat, Shri R.C. Yadav, Ms. Chitra Khirwadkar, Dr. Satish Karandikar, Dean, IIDS and Dr. Rolly Agarwal, Vice-Dean supported the cause.
The coordinators of the programme were Dr. Poonam Tomar Rana and Dr. Deepti Singh Hada with active participation by Dr. Akanksha Shrivastava, Dr. Himanshu Singh and Dr. Manish Gupta.
“Tobacco Cessation Centre” was inaugurated in Index Institute of Dental Sciences with the facility of breath analysis (carbon monoxide). Class-IV helpers and workers were present in majority and were briefed about the hazardous effect of tobacco on health.
Index Institute of Dental Sciences participated in an awareness rally in Rajwada, Indore on World No Tobacco Day under the coordination of Dr. Ranjan Mani Tripathi.
