The Department of Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics at Index Institute of Dental Sciences successfully organized the APEX SUMMIT on March 7th and 8th, 2025, under the esteemed leadership of Dean Dr. Suparna Ganguly Saha and Vice Dean Dr. Rolly Agarwal. This two-day event brought together distinguished speakers, practitioners, postgraduate students, and clinicians from across Indore to engage in advanced discussions and workshops centered on the latest developments in complex dental procedures. The summit aimed to foster continuous professional development and provide hands-on experience to dental professionals.
The first day of the summit featured an in-depth session led by Dr. Adarsh( M.S.), a highly regarded endodontist, who addressed the complexities of root canal treatments. Dr. Adarsh explored the challenges and innovative solutions associated with managing diverse clinical scenarios in endodontics. A total of 25 participants engaged in the workshop, where they received hands-on experience and training with retreatment kits, enhancing their ability to manage complex root canal cases. This interactive session provided valuable insights into advanced endodontic techniques, equipping attendees with the skills required for effective clinical practice.
On the second day, Dr. Sween Kathuria, a renowned cosmetic dentist and endodontist, delivered an enlightening session on “Veneers for All Generations.” Dr. Kathuria discussed the application of veneers and aesthetic laminates, focusing on their transformative role in cosmetic dentistry. The workshop, attended by 30 participants, highlighted the latest materials and advanced techniques for achieving both functional and aesthetically pleasing dental outcomes. The APEX SUMMIT 2025 underscored Index Institute of Dental Sciences’ commitment to advancing dental education, fostering innovation, and ensuring excellence in patient care through expert-led workshops and interactive learning.
