Index Institute of Dental Sciences, Malwanchal University, proudly celebrated Anti-Ragging Week from August 12th to 18th, following UGC guidelines. The Anti-Ragging Committee organized various activities to raise awareness and promote a ragging-free campus. The event included a poster competition with impactful messages, a debate on the harmful effects of ragging, and recognition of winners in these competitions.
Dr. Suparna Ganguly, the Principal, emphasized the importance of maintaining a positive and disciplined environment, encouraging senior students to foster harmony and respect with their juniors. The event also highlighted the necessary measures to preserve the campus’s sanctity and prepare for the challenges of the new academic session.
A dedicated helpline has been set up alongside the college and university’s Anti-Ragging Committee, ensuring that students can report any incidents promptly.
