Anti-Ragging Awareness Seminar Held at IIDS

Index Institute of Dental Sciences (IIDS), Indore successfully organized an Anti-Ragging Awareness Program on Thursday, 23rd November 2023.

The program featured a comprehensive lecture by Dr. Rahul Jagannath Hegde, M.D.S., a distinguished member of the Dental Council of India (DCI). Dr. Hegde utilized a PowerPoint presentation to highlight the severe consequences of ragging and emphasized strategies to eliminate this harmful practice.

The event was attended by a diverse group including undergraduate and postgraduate students, faculty members, and wardens from both the boys’ and girls’ hostels. Attendees were provided with essential information about anti-ragging helpline numbers and were reminded of the IIDS Anti-Ragging Committee’s role.

The program received enthusiastic feedback from both students and faculty, underscoring its importance in fostering a ragging-free campus environment.
